Awesome Handmade Apothecary Jars!!!

I originally found this project at Shanty2Chic and absolutely loved them. I just had to make my own. ( I am currently addicted to Apothecary Jars).




Here are the parts you need:
2 unfinished wood finials
2 unfinished wood circles
2 unfinished wood candle sticks
(I got each for 50% off at the Hobby Lobby)





and 2 glass canisters - I paid 2 bucks a piece for them at Home Goods.






I spray painted all of the parts - including the canister lids with a satin nickel finish paint.






This is my first time using Gorilla Glue Epoxy and I am in love with it! Just follow the directions on the package and glue the parts together. I let each glued section dry for about an hour before adding another section.






Here they are finished!




Now I just need to decide what to put in them. Any suggestions?

    these are cute - am on a search for nice apothecary jars, myself, at the mo. Maybe this is the inspiration to try making them myself. Cool!

    Stephie, Great Job! Nope, no suggestions! They are lovely as is! I like the paint color, and the jars you used. I love how you put your touch on them. You got the idea from Shanty but they've got your style! Super cute! I gotta make some of my own now.

    Oh, I love these - with the lids, they are just perfect! My first thought (especially with the lids) was bath salts... something that I couldnt put in my jars because they dont have... you guessed it, LIDS! (Can you tell I'm really jealous of the lids?!)

    Those look great! I love them - so wish we had a Hobby Lobby around us - my nearest one is an hour and a half - in either direction!
