Our First Garden!!

I am so dang proud of our very first garden! It was originally started out to be an herb garden - but my grandparents talked me in to a few more things. We now have cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, herbs, hibiscus trees, geraniums, and my absolute favorite - my lavender from Provence!

Here is how it all started:

While we were getting the ground ready to plant

the seeds were growing in the greenhouse

This is what it looked like before we planted anything:

Everything is transplanted from the greenhouse and all wet after a good rain

A few weeks later:

Isn't this basil gorgeous (and soooo yummy!)

Here are the first products!!

More picture to come later on when the tomatoes are ready!

Wow that's amazing! I've always wanted to start a garden but I can't even keep an office plant alive, haha.

Looks like everything is coming right along. I enjoy gardening too and have some zuccini's and tomatoes as well. I haven't tried Basil, perhaps next year. Happy gardening!

Wonderful! My oldest (6yo) planted a garden with flowers and a few veggies. We've harvested quite a bit of swiss chard and are looking forward to some corn.
